Come down and join us on what is quickly becoming the most popular and exciting way to hunt hogs in Texas. Hogs are naturally a nocturnal animal, so we hunt them at night when using our night vision/thermal optic scopes mounted on our AR-15’s. With the cover of darkness, we’ll usually get groups within 50-100 yards of the hogs.

Once we are within range and everyone is set-up and ready, your group will let freedom ring. In other words, take’em! With access to over 25,000 acres of private property, including ranches and row crop land, we have plenty of ground to ensure that everyone will see hogs. A normal trip will begin by the group meeting the guide at the lodge and then following him out to the ranch. Once at the ranch, a safety meeting will take place followed by step-by-step instructions on how hunt/stalk. 

After everyone is comfortable with the gear and the property layout, we will load up and head out to start the hunt. While slowly driving through the property, the guide will be scanning for hogs with thermal spotting scope. Once he has located a group or a single boar, the stalk is on. Hogs number one survival instinct is smell. Having the wind direction in your favor is the most important part of a successful hunt. We currently have eight set-ups of night vision/thermal optic scopes mounted on AR-15’s and access to more for larger parties. The ideal group is 2-4 people, but we can handle larger groups if needed. Contact us for details on how we accommodate larger groups.
